Privacy Policy

Paws Below does not include accounts, advertising, analytics, behavioral tracking, or a game backend. Game progress and preferences are stored only on the player’s device in browser local storage under paws-below-profile-v1.

The application does not transmit that saved profile to the Paws Below project. Browser storage is origin-specific: progress saved while playing on itch.io is separate from progress saved on pawsbelow.com and does not transfer between them. Clearing site data or uninstalling the app can permanently remove local progress, and progress does not synchronize between devices.

The canonical site at pawsbelow.com is hosted through Render. The itch.io edition is hosted through itch.io and its content-delivery infrastructure. Those providers, the browser, and an app store may process ordinary technical data such as IP address, user agent, request time, and diagnostic information under their own policies. Because Paws Below does not receive the local profile, it cannot recover or remotely delete that on-device data. Questions about this policy can be sent to support@pawsbelow.com.
